Ba-sa-dung Li skirt. The circumference of the top is 24" (61cm); the circumference of the bottom is 27" (69cm); length of skirt is 11" (28cm). The top band of the skirt which is 4" (10cm) wide. The Li group wearing this skirt are known as the Ba-sa-dung Li and, according to 'Traditional Culture of Li Ethnic Group' (see China bibliography), speak the Run dialect and live in the Baisha area of Hainan Island. Purchased in 2001.
