Silver
Palaung woman in traditional dress in Pein Ne Bin village near Kalaw,
southwestern Shan State. Note that she is wearing two blouses (or salow)
over what looks like a cotton tee-shirt. You can just see her bamboo or
rattan hoops around her waist which seem to be fastened together by white
metal clasps. She is standing against a background of praying 'stalls'.
