Silver
Palaung women gathering together to pray in the Buddhist temple in the
centre of Pein Ne Bin village near Kalaw, northwestern Shan State on 'Full
Moon Day' after the night of the full moon. Note the two women in traditional
woven skirts, decorated bloues and the woman on the left of centre wearing
bamboo or rattan hoops around her waist.
