The Buddhist temple in the centre of Pein Ne Bin village near Kalaw, northwestern Shan State. The Silver Palaung are Buddhists and celebrate the 'Full Moon Day' by gathering together and praying. Note the loud speaker to transmit prayers to the village. No doubt the previous night (of the full moon) it would have been broadcasting loudly as had the one from the temple in the centre of Kalaw!
