Water seeping through a bag of potash into a stone vessel prior to mixing with indigo in the dye vat.  Apparently some vine stalks/roots are added to the indigo dye solution.  The indigo paste, which has been produced locally is bought in the market. Side Comb Miao, Long Dong village, De Wo township, Longlin country, Guangxi province
