Dao
Quan Trang family. The women's white bib bodices are held up by a white
metal neck loop. The bodice has a mainly indigo rectangle of brocade weaving as well as embroidery with indigo and red. The jackets
are indigo blue with a limited amount of embroidery. The women wear a
square of embroidered stars and edged fabric on their heads. Note that the women
chew betel nut as indicated by their stained gums. Luong village on the
road from Sa Pa to Lao Cai town, Lao Cai province.
