I only realised the other day that this message board will only 'hold' 25 messages and that the message with the oldest post disappears into the ether when message 26 comes along. I think that we may have lost a couple of messages (probably only some of my old information posts on new books which are in the bibliographies anyway) but I have been saving the older messages since earlier this month and today I have set up a forum archive page which can be accessed from the link here or from the forum link page on the main tribaltextiles.info site. I find that I look back on info in old messages and it would be a shame to lose all the pearls of wisdom and interesting links that you all are posting. Pamela, You are doing a wonderful job, and your idea of archiving older messages is an excellent one!I only hope this latest venture is not too time consuming.All the best.Sandie |

The tribaltextiles.info forum has now moved from its hosting on Amazing forums to a new 'community' on the tribaltextiles.info site itself. All the messages which were live at the time of the launch of the new tribaltexitiles.info/community have been transferred as 'live' messages. There were, however, a group of earlier messages which I had archived just before they fell into the obliviion into which they were pushed once they became message 26 on the old forum. These can still be accessed via forum archive although new posts cannot be made directly to the threads. If you want to continue the discussion, please post the url of the particular archived thread into a new message on the 'community' forum and carry on posting. |
