From Xam Tai,
this unusual mosquito net border (now in the collection of Pamela Cross)
is a lovely shade of brown, with accents of purple, gold and yellow.
It is unusual because of the design motifs: elongated, stylized star
motifs with arrows; also present in a few places are stylized animal
motifs and figures with up-raised hands. One end is a dark red rather
than brown. It is all handspun cotton (or perhaps fine hemp?) with cotton
and some silk supplementary weft. Condition is very good, tho there
are soiled areas throughout. Size: 274" (22'-10") x 9.5"
