Close up of Padaung young woman.  The photo clearly shows her neck rings, the pad tucked inside the rings and protecting the chin from chafing on the rings.  The traditional stitched edging of her blouse is also visible.  The ubiquitous toweling cloth is around her head with traditional coloured bands of fabric.  She is living with another woman in the grounds of a hotel on the edge of Lake Inle - her lipstick indicates that she is prepared to be seen by visitors.
