Jpeg 97K A modern cotton supplementary weft woven pha chet purchased in northern Thailand in 1988 - and probably woven during that decade. The bright dyes are very clearly chemical but the weaving is very fine.

A modern cotton supplementary weft woven pha chet purchased in northern Thailand in 1988 - and probably woven during that decade. The two vertical fold lines suggest that it has been worn folden into three and has been made by the weaver for use and not directly for the tourist market.
