Jpeg 51K 9510A36 Hmong woman and girl walking along the road from Moc Chau to Son La in Son La province.  There is some similarity of costume between these Hmong and photos of Black Hmong in Mai Chau district, Hoa Binh province shown in Hill Tribes of Vietnam, Volume 1 by Joachim Schliesinger. Son La province borders on Hoa Binh province in the far south east with the Moc Chau and Mai Chau districts adjacent. The hair style of the woman is also similar to that shown in the Schliesinger Black Hmong photos.
