I am afraid that we seem to be getting a very irritating bunch of Spammers hitting the forum at the moment. Sometimes it is a case that they want their website to be seen - presumably to push them up the search engine rankings and to get stray hits - or making inane posts.
I am afraid that I am brutal about it and delete the posts and the Spammers. That may mean that you get an email indicating there has been a post on a thread that you have contributed to but when you check there is nothing new - that is because I have deleted the rubbish posted and then the poster!
I see the forum as a resource for those with a serious interest - and we all have too little time to waste in being distracted by self indulgent rubbish. End of rant!!!
