Hello would u be able to shed any light on this piece? I neither know for sure its origin nor uses.. though my guess is that it is an Indonesian cloth (perhaps a shoulder cloth or waist belt) for ceremonial usage. It has motifs such as the crab, lobster/prawn, deer etc..and this seems to indicate Chinese influence?? It was acquired in Singapore from a dealer that has a lot of Indonesian items.
It has some laces and tassles at the sides.
I also don't know the technique used to create this piece of cloth nor its age...A mysterious, colourful piece.
Any guesswork or hints?
Thanks!

File comment: It is a rather long piece...seems to be able to be hung accross one's shoulder or tied around the waist
