The Gerald Warner Taiwan Image Collection is a photographic resource gathered by the US Consul to Taiwan Gerald Warner from 1937 to 1941 housed in the Skillman Library, Lafayette College.
An incredibly detailed, fascinating and worthwhile website on the material culture of colonial Taiwan.

As a contributor to his website, I received the message hereafter from the professor Paul Barclay, from the Lafayette University. His website presenting extraordinary, original and unique pictures from Taiwan colonial times, has been updated. You can do a research by category (for the tribal textiles) !

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Please excuse the impersonal nature of this message. We have launched a new open-access digital archive of colonial Taiwan and occupation Japan photographs, photo-negatives, slides and postcards, numbering thousands, with more to come. The great majority of these images are unpublished or rare. Please share. Thanks,
Sincerely, Paul Barclay

皆様、ご無沙汰しております。御参考までに、これは私達の新しい植民地時代台湾と占領時代日本とのDigi tal Archiveです。一度ご覧頂ければ、幸甚です。どうぞ宜しくお願いいたします。
