You really have inundated us with so many 'mystery textiles' from different backgrounds all at once. It is very time consuming to look up all the different examples you show and I am sure that most forum members lead busy lives. Whilst we like to help with mysteries to actually review a whole collection of varied textiles all at once is rather overwhelming. I think we would all appreciate it if you could give us some background on this sudden flood of textiles and it would be courteous to fellow forum members.

I don't want to discourage enquiries and sharing textiles with the forum, especially as it is so quiet these days with people seduced by Facebook, but I think it is important to be realistic about peoples stamina! Certainly if I post information I only do it when I have carefully thought about what I am saying and checked my references. The less certain one is the more time it takes. If I haven't had a chance to do this then I don't post. I have certainly been going through a very busy period.

Louis, Textile 01 and 02 may be from Vietnam as I have seen similar, some with warp ikat motifs, but I don't recall the name of the group just off hand and don't have time at the moment to research it. Google "textiles from Vietnam" and do some searching for similar pieces. I don't have many textiles from Vietnam and am not really familiar with the many different groups.
