Always when I visit my dear friend Peggy (Peggy Kneefel from Amsterdam), some textiles seem to stick to my fingers. Here this beautiful baby hat, which she has bought years and years ago in Lhasa.
It is a really tiny hat for a new born baby. Immediately I fell in love with this piece of textile. Back home I had a look in my books but couldn't find any information on the hat.
The diameter is 10 cm and the hight is 8 cm. It is made from a shiny, brocade cloth with a floral design. Who has seen this type of hat before?
